Every summer (late July/early August), our church family comes together for delicious food, cool games, and opportunities to laugh with one another and minister to each other.
During Advent and Lent, we gather around the table to share meals and reflect on the heart of our faith. Advent is a celebratory reminder of Jesus' first coming by way of a manger, while also looking ahead to His return. Lent is a period of honest, heartfelt reflection on our need for Jesus and the joyous result of His journey here.
It's the reason we exist! Not just the food and friends we meet with—though that's wonderful—but the fact that Jesus lives! He arose from the grave and takes care of us in a variety of ways.
