School
Education for Time and Eternity
St. Paul Lutheran Elementary School was founded in 1879 by the congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  Since then, the Lutheran Elementary School has served thousands of families and students in helping to nurture and raise children in the ways of the Bible, God's inspired, perfect word.
We offer a rigorous curriculum in historic downtown Appleton.  Our curriculum, whether religious or secular, has Christ at the center.  He alone is the focus of our Christian education program.  Through our religious lessons and all subject areas, they learn about the amazing grace of God--that he would send his Son, Jesus, to live in our place, die in our place, and now prepares a place in heaven for us.
We truly offer education for time, and eternity!!

We are a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), which is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI.  The WELS school system is the third largest parochial school system in the United States.

Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP)

Information for the 2016-17 School Year

  • St. Paul has been a part of the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program since 2015-16.
  • Under this program -- funded by the State of Wisconsin -- parents have a voice in how their tax dollars are spent on the education of their children. At St. Paul, we believe parents are best equipped to decide what school is the best fit for their child. This program allows more families to choose Christian education for their sons or daughters.
  • St. Paul encourages all qualifying families to apply.
  • All families who applied and received a voucher for 2015-16 need to go to the DPI website to apply for the 2016-17 school year. Once your application has been entered, the DPI site will list what documentation is needed for you to bring to St. Paul for verification.
