The Center

St. Paul Lutheran Early Childhood Center uses God’s Word as its guide to nurture disciples for Christ by assisting parents in the training and instruction of their children. As a part of St. Paul Lutheran Church’s ministry to families, St. Paul Lutheran Early Childhood Center offers full-time or part-time childcare ages 6 weeks to 12 years old, before and after school child care options, summer camp, and even 3K and 4K educational opportunities. All learning experiences are developmentally appropriate centering around God’s message of love and forgiveness. The center operates year around and is open each day from 6:30am to 5:30pm.

BACKGROUND
St. Paul Lutheran Early Childhood Center has served our community for 17 years.  During those 17 years over 500 individual children and 300 familes have been served. Our staffing remains very stable.

MISSION
Using God's Word as our guide,
St. Paul Lutheran Early Childhood Center exists to promote quality Christ-centered education and care to our familes and our community.

OVERVIEW
All the programs at St. Paul Lutheran
Early Childhood Center are based on the development of the "whole child."  We believe that children learn best through play and "hands on" experiences.  Every child enrolled will daily learn about Jesus their Savior while being able to explore through age and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Emerging themes will be presented as part of the curriculum in an effort to enhance each child's personal explorations, discovery, and developmental level.
We are one of the over 400 early childhood ministries in the Wisconsin Lutheran Evangelical Synod. All of the teachers and caregivers in this system are trained in excellent early childhood procedures and practices with an emphasis in sharing God’s gift of eternal life with every one of Jesus’ little lambs. St. Paul Lutheran Early Childhood Center has eight full time teachers with three assistant teachers.

At our center, we aim to build partnerships with parents in the care and education of each child. Just a few more ways we aspire to provide best in class care are as follows:
  • Flexible scheduling is available and parents are encouraged to be part of these special early childhood years in a variety of ways
  • Daily conversations between teachers and caregivers keep parents in touch with their child’s growth and early learning milestones
  • Safety, health, and developmentally appropriate activities are center goals
  • Each day provides a balance of small and large motor activities
  • Healthy meals and snacks are all part of the center’s daily routine
  • Outside time is also an integral part of the daily program. Enjoying nature and the four seasons in Wisconsin help each child to experience first hand the blessings of spending time in God’s special world
  •  Fees remain some of the lowest in the Fox River Valley area
  • Multiple children and referral discounts
